"We came from Joplin for dinner on Friday. It was easy to make a reservation and we were seated right away. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious and portions were big. Definitely worth going out of the way for the quality of food and atmosphere. Will be coming back."

"Simply the best.......there is no other way to describe it. My wife and I decided to brave the weather, and give it a go for a Sunday lunch, and boy, we were not disappointed. Portions were extremely generous, and hands down, the best chicken fried steak I have ever experienced in my life. Before lunch starts, hot rolls came to the table that were also nothing short of fantastic. Regrettably, I ate so much that I could not handle the desert........seating is family style at nice big tables, so be prepared to have a conversation with someone you have never spoken to before. We are definitely going back, and will definitely have the Salisbury steak. Also, make sure you follow the directions they provide on their Facebook page, unless you want to go off-roading....."

"If you're looking for a unique dining experience with a cozy, family-style atmosphere, you’ve got to check out Hurley’s Olde Bay in Pineville, MO! We made our reservation the day before through Facebook, and it was confirmed within an hour—super easy. Since they’re reservation-only, be sure to check their Facebook page to see the set menu for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. When we arrived, my mother was waiting for a menu, and I had to break the news—there isn’t one! You get what’s on the menu for that evening, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Tonight’s meal was catfish, green beans, rice and beans, and their famous yeast rolls. The rolls came out first and disappeared in about three minutes—just like the ones my Great-Grandmother Lyda used to make! The catfish fillets were massive, coated in a perfectly seasoned cornmeal batter, and the sides were delicious as well. The sweet tea is a must-try—it’s clearly a favorite for a reason. The real star of the night? The Chocolate Delight dessert. It was absolutely amazing—so good it should be called Million Dollar High! Sofia, the owner, and our waitress were incredibly friendly, happy to chat and answer questions, even sharing stories about the four horse camps surrounding the property. We’re already looking forward to going back. If you’re up for a little adventure and some seriously good food, this is a must-try! Rob Score 9.2/10.0"

"Beautiful hideaway! The drive is so worth it with beautiful scenery. The atmosphere is cozy . The food was fantastic! Everything tastes exactly how I wanted it too ! The owners are welcoming and attentive. It’s affordable too! I should also mention portion size, we had enough to take home for dinner. This is a one meal menu, which led me to believe they put their heart into the meal and you can taste it. We enjoyed catfish, red beans and rice, green beans, cheddar biscuits and cherry crisp."

"Had a great dinner tonight at Hurley's Olde Bay. Chicken fried chicken, garlic mashed potatoes with black pepper gravy and corn. Rolls and a cinnamon swirl coffee cake for dessert. Really nice place with great staff and owners. It is a bit of a drive but well worth it."

"Hurleys is always amazing! The food is second to none. Especially if you enjoy down home southern comfort food like we do. They have a set menu that changes weekend to weekend. This past weekend we had the brisket. Lemme tell you...it was one of the best brisket I've ever eaten and that's saying a lot. We've been blessed to have had some of the best BBQ in the country and this was up there and maybe the best one ever. It was so tender you don't need a knife. The carrots were delicious the baked potato was really good too. The rolls are buttery just like I like them. The dessert was a blueberry ricotta cake and it was extremely yummy too. The service is always stellar and I love the laid back atmosphere. You do need a reservation so keep that in mind. You cant just walk in and expect a table so call ahead and plan if you want to eat the best food in this area. 10/10 highly recommend"

"Like southern home cookin'. Excellent experience and Phenomenal country fried chicken, mash taters corn and rolls. Dessert, we had two options my husband and I couldn't decide which one to get so we had one of each. Blueberry cobbler and a chocolate mouse cake. Divine!!"

"Very cool place in the middle of nowhere but worth the drive! The meal choices for our evening were chicken fried steak or chicken, green beans or corn, garlic mashed potatoes, and homemade rolls. We had the steak and it was wonderful. It was fairly thin but tender and cooked to perfection. The green beans were cooked down how I like them. Daughter said corn was great and the mashed taters were firm but delicious. And the rolls..... oh my. They didn't even need the butter. For dessert, there was cream cheese iced, homemade chocolate cake. So moist and flavorful! We'll be back! Be sure and MAKE reservations because it's not a very big place. We almost didn't get in because we didn't make reservations but the owner was most-gracious and figured it out. Next time, we'll be on their list!"
